To grow trees of better quality, one has to use seeds of better quality. However, establishment of seed sources, procurement and distribution of genetically and physiologically high quality tree seeds are specialized tasks. TTSA has been given this mandate by the Government of Tanzania ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism. TTSA has well trained personnel with long experience of tree seed handling. Our activities are directed towards enhancing sustainable supply of high quality tree seeds and other propagating materials as demanded in Tanzania and outside the country.

We are pleased that you will spend some time studying our new seed catalogue. This price list is the second edition under Tanzania Tree Seed Agency and it supersedes the first and all National Tree Seed Programme seed catalogues. More species, seed sources, pre-treatment methods and harvesting period have been included. This catalogue contains information on 400 different sources.
